4th floor loft, great light and windows, and columns, old style NYC loft.
Medium wood floors, four paned windows, columns, studio, pipes, open.
Restrictions:
All floors must be protected, booties must be worn over shoes, areas of use determined in advance, etc.
Weekend shoots are not permitted.
No parking outside or across the building for any reason, quick drop offs are fine.
Very high insurance requirements for building; a building contract needs to be signed.
House rules:
10 hour day, 8am to 6pm. OT is time and a half, but hard out at 7pm (building does not allow anyone in building after 7pm or prior to 8am).
Electricity is not included for continuous lights such as tungsten and HMI. There is a nominal extra fee. Generators and exterior lights are not permitted.
Entrances, doorways, hallways and elevators may not be blocked, nor used for storage at any time. Maximum crew of 40 people in building at any time.
Sneakers and flip-flops are permitted, but all other shoes must be removed at the door to the space. Equipment cases must be stored on rubber mats (provided). And clients are encouraged to bring their own floor protection, Ram Board.
Client is responsible for removing all trash at the end of the shoot.
Must assign a PA to the front door and they must stay there during the entirety of the shoot or the shoot will be shut down. The front door may NOT be propped open and left unattended at all.
