Center hall Colonial house, white with black shutters, and built in 1915. House is built sideways from the street. One side driveway, detached garage and carport. Slate staircase up to back door. There is brick walkway down stairs to large brick area and main entrance to house. High stone steps lead down from terrace to yard and beautiful English garden and to a round wading pool (2.5′ deep x 9′ across).
There are three floors plus a basement. Decor is a mix of English antiques and art, oriental/persian rugs.
First floor – Kitchen has a 60’s vintage look with red countertops and looks out onto a large terrace. Dining room has french doors leading to the terrace. Powder room by back door. Center hall living room with large mantle and fireplace; library with large windows looks out to front garden.
Second floor – Large master with its own vintage bathroom, large second bedroom, bathroom, and office.
Third floor – Open stairs, hallway, two small bedrooms, bathroom with original claw foot tub.
Basement has multiple rooms and if you were shooting a creepy film it would be great for that.
