Notes
A variety of historic barns located centrally within a farm property of 123 acres. The surrounding land is sloping and includes predominantly farm land. It also includes woods, a stream, a pond, and apple orchards. The buildings are clustered relatively close together, and there is a several acre mowed area around them called “the courtyard”.
All 3 historic barns are included in rental – two large (Scottish Barn and German Barn) and the smaller Corn Crib.
There is a large Workshop Barn which houses 4 bathrooms (3 are used for guests during weddings and the 4th for vendors). Catering can be set up in the Workshop Barn.
There is a house as well, but it has been gutted on the inside. Besides the beautiful workmanship of the timber framed barns, the grounds and privacy give a sense of timelessness, or stepping back in time.
There is a long private driveway leading to the buildings and a large parking lot with a capacity of about 50 cars.
Restrictions:
No nailing or painting in walls.
No AC; there is a ceiling fan in the German Barn. There is heating in the German Barn and The Workshop Barn. There is a space heater for the Scottish Barn, but would require an additional fee.
All 4 bathrooms are available for use except in the winter when only one is available.
