Notes
This church built in 1897 in the Neo Gothic style is located in Chelsea, surrounded by traditional brownstone townhouses.
A classic neo gothic entrance portal leads into a versatile entrance area. From there you either go to the 2nd floor where the sanctuary is located, or, into the community hall. The sanctuary can accommodate about 400 people. There is additional seating available in the spacious balcony as well as an organ from the New York organ builder Jardine & Son dating from 1897. The altar, pulpit, reading desk and number plates come from the workshop Seemann Wagering & Co., Milwaukee. The five picture windows of the altar alcove were made at the Munich Hofkunstanstalt Mayer & Co. and represents various aspects of the church year.
The Community Hall is a spacious, light flooded shared room with original parquet flooring. The capacity of this space is 140 people. There is a projector screen available, if needed. The kitchen, adjoining the hall has a comfortable design and makes it possible to arrange catering. The bathrooms are located in the basement.
The main sanctuary is 3,211 SF and the balcony is 800 SF. The community hall is 2,323 SF (including the stage which is 200 SF).
