This is an active industrial site and therefore may look different than photos – things change and move around constantly. Most areas are available but might be so at an extra charge.
The pier can sometimes be made available but its difficult to shoot – we discourage shooting here because its hard to get equipment unto it, and dangerous – insurance requirements increase when shooting on pier.
Restrictions:
Special insurance requirements.
Scouting is mandatory, motorhome mandatory, no heat, no air conditioning, electricity is very minimal if any, and some of the areas are off limits at times, this is why scouting is very important.
First scout is No Charge. All subsequent scouts are a fee of $225.00 per scout to be paid cash on scout day. Everyone who comes to site must have a valid state ID for checkin.
This location does not hoold dates unless a fee is paid – 25% of total price of booking – and is non refundable.
Some areas are more run down now, piles of rocks etc change daily, this is a working site.
Fees vary according to areas of use – needs at least one week notice to clear.
Access to side buildings on site (not the main building) is by 6-foot metal ladder and can be dangerous – some of the the areas have been restricted.
The stairwell leading up to the 2nd floor of the smaller brick building near the grain terminal has been removed, 2nd floor accessible via ladder, or a gangway (extra fee).
Taxi’s/black car’s not allowed on property. All crew have to get out at main entrance and walk inside. No personal cars allowed on property. Only car permitted is 1-SUV. All cars are to park on street over by esplanade which is 400 feet away from main gate.
